Journaling is a habit I have embraced since middle school. Once married with children, my yearly journal books became Mother Books. Now retired, I am an author embracing journaling for all the reasons you mentioned in your piece and more. However, I wanted and needed more out of the journaling experience. One journal book entitled “Be Inspired,” (published by Piccadilly Inc.) pushed me to write a journal book to address the unique needs of the Black community. “Be Inspired” used quotes from famous Americans to prompt responses; however, the publisher hadn’t included a quote from any famous Black Americans. I wrote a journal book to address this void. The following is a blurb about the book.
