Who (or what) is your rock? Is it a rock that nurtures
or undermines your will?
Would you allow a crumbling rock
to support you as it disintegrates
under the soul of your feet?

The wrong rock erodes. Becomes porous.
Barren. Dull. Void.
It will, in time, turn to dust.
It is not weatherproof.
Shockproof.
Over time, it loses its shine and power.
Becomes a murky rotting deposit
that wades in still waters
that can’t run deep.
